Who is Namasina 

Namasina Zulu is a serial entrepreneur who have been in both corporate and business, having worked within the IT sector and later spent over a decade working within the NPO sector as a Specialist in Monitoring and Evaluation where she evaluated a number of projects aimed at advancing communities throughout South Africa including within the entrepreneurship, education, financial literacy space. through UKZN in 2024 she conducted a research aimed at understand how entrepreneurship can bring about change in communities and investment needed. “Can entrepreneurship transform communities”. Currently she is doing a researched on Cooperatives on the effectiveness of policy and legislations aimed at Cooperatives, this is with the aim to increase the success rate of Cooperatives as there are the drives to bringing massive employment and building collective wealth.

Namasina Zulu is a founder and director of Victolex a company in the mining and trucking sectors, she has been able to coach several individuals to enter into trucking space. In 2021 had an honour to be chosen as one of the Women in Transport in South Africa through the USAID programme in partnership with Transport Academy.

She is also a founder and director of My Brand Matter a company close to her heart that seeks to assist more South Africans to be able to put food on the table by starting their own businesses, she has mentored and coached +1000 SMMEs. This speaks to her life purpose which is “to assist people to recognize their abilities and talent and use those to generate income and be able to put food on the table for themselves and their families. she achieves this by conducting one on one coaching, workshops, seminars and public speaking where she step by step unpack strategies of starting and running a profitable business and developing a strategy to win.

Namasina is also a Self-published Author of two books, first one “From Idea to Income, Your Guide to Starting a Profitable Business”, The book is designed to be a guide for individuals starting in business, it has key principles on how to come up with a business idea, marketing strategies, access to funding, building a strong mindset needed to sustain a business. Second book “Landing your first job , the ultimate guide to work readiness” aimed at new graduate and unemployed individuals who want to find a job in this tough economy, it has guidelines and step by step of ways of going about landing a job.
